1. Had a lovely date #3 that involved seared tuna steaks, talking about iPhone video games and How I Met Your Mother.
2. Bloody Marys in the sun on Saturday with Margaret.
3. Dinner at Spork.
4. Drinking at home with Margaret, Mick, Adelle and Brittin while watching The Real Housewives of Orange County.
5. Party in the Mission with champagne.

My distance: 10 miles Travel time yesterday: over an hour Travel time today: 40 minutes
Surely my time is more valuable than that?
It’s stupid, because the train would be so convenient, but is more expensive than driving. What kind of green initiative is that?

I am so frustrated with trying to think of what to eat all the time. I know it sounds like a middle-aged, coupon-clipping, mom-of-three thing to do, but I am going to have to start making weekly meal plans. Not that there is anything wrong with being said person, it’s just that I so am not at that life stage.
The problem is that I still, after two and a half years, can’t get used to...
a whole day's shopping...
…and nothing to show for it.
I can’t believe I want to spend money on shoes (and actually need some too) and I’m completely unable. This is a new one for sure.
Seriously though, everything is either really ugly or impractical (ie open-toed or suede - this is winter, afterall).

Perhaps I should be a fashion journalist. I’ve known for a very long time that orange goes well with pink and purple. It’s hardly a newsflash and Ikea, for one, has been tuned into this concept for years. I guess we can’t take notice until someone important enough catches on, though. Thanks Marc Jacobs.
